Written and recorded in isolation PeopleGone was inspired by some of the soul stirring images captured around the world during the Covid-19 Pandemic. For instance seeing images of Italy, the City of Rome deserted. It felt and looked like human kind was entering a new epoch. The planet was responding too. Soon after the lock-down in Italy there was news that dolphins were seen in the canals of Venice for the first time in many years. Lock downs around the globe began to have their effect and Mother Nature was responding. In China some people were seeing blue skies for the first time in their lives. While walking on my property recently I crossed paths with a fox. Typically nighttime hunters this particular specimen was observed in broad daylight and didn't seem to have a care in the world. The fox stopped, seemed to ponder me a bit and leisurely moved on. I thought to myself - the animals and the earth are getting some breathing space with all the people gone.....
